As the Military Liaison Officer at the Ministry of Defence and a career Army Officer, Major General Fernando has been actively involved in the staunch defence of the country for nearly 4 decades. During his long-running military service, he has held numerous command, staff and logistics positions, such as: Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army; Director – Electrical and Mechanical Engineers; and Military Spokesman at the Ministry of Defence. His security experience also includes a stint as the Director – Security at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. An avid sportsman, he is heavily involved in sports administration and is currently President of the Athletic Association of the Sri Lanka and Vice President of the National Olympic Committee. Major General Fernando is a graduate of the Command and Staff College in Quetta, Pakistan as well as the Officer Cadet School of the Army Training Center in Diyatalawa.
Secretary Department of Wildlife Resources and Conservation
Equipped with a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sri Lanka, Peradeniya, as well as Master's Degrees in Industrial Training from the University of Manchester (UK) and in Information and Communications Technology from the University of Moratuwa. Mr.Wickremasinghe currently serves as the Secretary to the Department of Wildlife Resources and Conservation, the chairman of Lanka Rest Houses Ltd and is a Board Member at the Civil Aviation Authority.
Additional Secretary (Defence I), Ministry of Defence & Urban Development
Joining the Government service in 1984 as a Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) Cadet Officer, Mr, Hettiarachchi is a senior SLAS officer, currently working as an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Defence. His extensive academic qualifications include a B.A from the University of Kelaniya, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Policy and Project Planning from the Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands, and a Master's Degree in Public Management from the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration
Additional Director General, Department of State Accounts
Currently Additional Director General Department of State Accounts of the Treasury, Mr. Saliya holds a B.Com. (Special) degree from Kelaniya University. He also serves on the Board of the Defence Service Command & Staff College. Prior to being appointed as a Director of Budget, served as an Economist in the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Leisha De Silva Chandrasena

An Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public by profession. Mrs. De Silva Chandrasena is Chairperson of the Sri Lanka National Drug Contorl Board. She is also a Partner at the renowned legal partnership of De Silva and De Silva, practicing in the Civil Courts while also acting as a Company Secretary at a number of firms. In addition to her legal qualifications, she holds diplomas in Human Rights, Human Resource, Business Administration, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.

Having served his nation with distinction over the course of a proud 34 years in the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Egodawele is armed with exceptional leadership experience. His many mission critical staff and command appointments include his work as Coordinating Officer and Coordinator-in-Chief in the North and Eastern Provinces during crisis situations , where he helped manage civil unrest and disturbances. He was Chief Military Coordinator for Disaster Relief Operations in 2003. and a member of the Colombo Disaster Management Council in 2003/2004. He has been a recipient of the Rana Sura Padakkama (RSP) medal and the Rana Wickrema Padakkama (RWP) medal for the acts of bravery in the face of the enemy during anti-terrorist operations, The Vishista Seva Vibhushanaya (VSV) for exceptional, distinguished and loyal service, and the Uttama Seva Padakakama (USP) for unblemished, exceptional, and exemplary conduct and devotion to duty.
